Matrix LGS® - Proven and Tested
Matrix LGS® has been designed for use across a range of cylindrical geometries in water currents. The system’s passive and low profile disrupts boundary layer instability caused by vortex induced vibration (VIV), which reduces both amplitude and drag as well as VIV fatigue. Matrix LGS® is easily installed before or after deployment, increasing operational flexibility whilst significantly reducing life cycle costs.
Matrix LGS® has undergone extensive testing at Monash University and at Canada's National Research Council in St. John's, Newfoundland. The LGS system has been successfully deployed in strong current conditions in the Gulf of Mexico and at shallow water depths off the coast of Australia as part of a pipeline remediation project.
